Hei tautoko i ngā whare whakaako reo Māori

The name Te Aho Whītiki talks about binding. We strive to bring kaiako and leaders from across the Māori-medium education sector to work together and show the beauty and potential of mātauranga Māori, tikanga Māori and te reo Māori through a range of different mediums. Whītiki mātauranga, whītiki kaupapa, whītiki tangata!

Te Aho Whītiki focuses on supporting kaiako and leaders throughout the Māori-medium education sector, including kōhanga reo, whare kōhungahunga, puna reo, kura tuatahi (full immersion, immersion unit, bilingual unit), kura takawaenga (full immersion, immersion unit, bilingual unit), wharekura (full immersion, immersion unit, bilingual unit). We offer support across a range of topics that are priorities for the Māori-medium education sector, such as Aromatawai, Te Reo Māori, Mātauranga Māori, Marautanga and Matatautanga ā-Matihiko. We aim to inspire kaiako and leaders through exciting workshops whilst giving tools to support professional practice.
